Augmented Reality

For Business

Where the real world is overlaid with information from the digital world.

What is Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR) is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are "augmented" by computer-generated or extracted real-world sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. It is related to a more general concept called computer-mediated reality, in which a view of reality is modified (possibly even diminished rather than augmented) by a computer. Augmented reality enhances one’s current perception of reality, whereas in contrast, virtual reality replaces the real world with a simulated one. Augmentation techniques are typically performed in real time and in semantic context with environmental elements, such as overlaying supplemental information like scores over a live video feed of a sporting event.

Enhanced Customer Experience

Enhanced Customer Experience

With Augmented Reality, you can add an extra dimension of creativity to your business. Add videos, Images or any other multimedia to instantly create a personalized experience for your customer to get their attention, or provide the information needed to make a buy decision. In addition, with Augmented Reality, your products and services are brought to life by enabling a 360 Degree view of such products, providing virtual walk through for your customers. With this cutting edge technology you can even help your customers experience your products in their living space – for example, customers can add your products (furniture, light fixtures, electronics) in their living rooms in 3D at full scale and a 360 degree view.
And because the image is in 3D, customers can walk around a product to see it from different sides – which also helps with consumers’ buying decisions.

How Augmented Reality is implemented

Businesses who wants to capitalize on this cutting edge technology will need to build an App that can show case their products. Customers who are shopping for such products will need an Android or iOS based devices such as Android phone, iPhone or iPad.
For example, customers shopping in an AR enabled Furniture Store can add furniture (such as Sofa, Coffee Table, End Table, Chairs) in their living rooms. As the furniture are added in 3D at full scale, customers can walk around the furniture to see it from different sides, allowing them to see them up close and at every angle – all in their very own space.
